Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean in Ohio is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to preserve a safe, attractive campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, trimming, litter removal, and seasonal snow and ice control, with a 7:30am–4pm shift.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least one year in landscape/grounds work, a valid pesticide applicators license (Categories 6A, 6C & Core), and ability to operate ladders and aerial

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grounds maintenance tasks and landscape care basics.
• One year of landscape/grounds industry experience.
• Valid pesticide applicators license, categories 6A, 6C & Core.
• Ability to operate ladders and aerial lifts safely.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, weed, and maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and beds.
• Remove litter and keep sidewalks, entrances, and exterior spaces clean.
• Assist with seasonal leaf removal, mulching, and snow/ice control.
• Support campus events with setup, teardown and site restoration.
