Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced grill cook to join a fast-paced kitchen at Albany State University - Radium Campus. You will prepare and plate meals with emphasis on quality, portion control, and creative presentation in a high-volume setting.

You will work with a motivated team, follow recipes and safety protocols, and help deliver a consistent dining experience for students and staff. Prior scratch cooking and customer service experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
