Job summary

The University of New Mexico seeks a student employee to support Louie's Lounge in the SUB, assisting guests, running the rental counter, and coordinating events and tournaments. You will work under supervision, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for fellow students.

Responsibilities include managing rentals, aiding with marketing needs, inventory, and coordinating with the Marketing Assistant to promote events.

Qualifications

Customer service orientation and positive attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently after training.
Experience planning or assisting events or tournaments.
Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
Proficiency with PC applications and basic digital tools.

Responsibilities

Run the rental counter for Louie's Lounge operations.
Relay advertisement and social media needs to the Marketing Assistant.
Conduct inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute tournaments.
Attend Louie's Lounge Team meetings.
Participate in training and workshops as available.
Complete space walkthroughs and maintain cleanliness of space and billiards tables.
Respond to varying needs and contact the appropriate personnel.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Position requires cross training and general support functions.
