Chartwells Higher Education seeks a Food Service Director of Operations for Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. You will advise on day-to-day operations and drive financial success while upholding health, safety, and quality standards on a large campus dining location.

The role offers opportunities to advance within Chartwells as part of Compass Group USA, with potential for leadership across multi-unit operations and a focus on delivering exceptional campus dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Five years of foodservice management experience required.
• Higher Education board and retail operations experience required.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience required.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, marketing and presentation.
• Strong leadership abilities with staff supervision and development experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize.

Responsabilités

• Formulates budgets and plans for the operation.
• Maintains and implements standards of quality in all areas of the operation.
• Ensures compliance with regional and account programs and policies.
• Accountable for accurate reporting for the account.
• Maintain client and customer happiness by ensuring food quality and service standards.
• Supervise hiring, training, and development of staff.
• Prepare and complete daily/weekly/financial reports on costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
• Build strong client relationships to align programs with objectives.
• Perform other duties to support dining operations.
