• Cooking and supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Trains staff; plans, assigns and directs work; evaluates performance.
• Advises management on purchasing to minimize waste and shortages.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures.
• Stores, labels and dates food items; maintains rotation to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Operates service equipment safely.
• Helps serve meals and gathers customer feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
