Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead the Savannah-based dining program at Georgia Southern Armstrong University. You will oversee all aspects of the food service department, directing a skilled team to ensure timely meals and exceptional service for students and staff.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills, with experience in industrial cooking and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Strong communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including direct purchasing of ingredients and forecasting.
• Coordinate with district management on dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
