Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Floor Plan Specialist in the FP&M division to collect and update space information through field walks, surveys, and project documentation. You will support space management by ensuring accurate floor plans and integration with campus data systems.

The role emphasizes meticulous data handling, collaboration with schools and departments, and adherence to campus master plans while operating 7:45AM–4:30PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in architecture, space planning, or related field.
• Experience collecting, updating, and implementing field data into floor plan programs.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk CAD for floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development and maintenance of floor plan standards (room schema, drawings, storage).
• Investigates options for future development based on unit master plans.
• Produces and maintains space floor plans integrated with inventory data.
