Job summary

Blinn College District is seeking a Student Worker to support the Financial Aid office on the Brenham Campus. You will assist students with financial aid questions, process documents, and help maintain organized files under supervision.

The role is semester-by-semester and capped at 19 hours per week; prior experience with MS Office is helpful. This on-site position offers an hourly wage and non-exempt status for the duration of the semester.

Qualifications

• Must be work study eligible.
• Strong written and verbal communication with students.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy office.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-end customer service to students including answering questions and referring complex inquiries to staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as organizing and filing documents and processing financial aid documents.
• Assist with office tasks such as mail orders and reorganization as needed.
