Job summary

The Blinn College District is seeking a Student Worker - Information Desk Attendant at the Bryan Campus. The Information Desk Attendant serves as the primary contact and the face of the college for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, providing directions and campus resources with excellent customer service.

The role requires strong communication, a welcoming demeanor, and reliability. Enrolled Blinn students eligible for Federal Work Study funding are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Requires Federal Work Study eligibility.
• Enrollment as a current Blinn student.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment.
• Provide accurate directions to campus buildings and offices.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls to appropriate departments.
• Assist individuals in navigating the college website and campus resources.
• Perform clerical duties for the Prospective Student Relations office.
• Work approximately fifteen hours per week throughout the semester.
