Job summary

Blinn College District in Brenham is seeking a Student Worker - Library Clerk at the Nancy Carol Roberts Library on the Brenham Campus. This off-campus, Fall 2026 position supports daily library operations and public service.

Work-study eligible students may apply; duties include checking books in/out, assisting patrons, collecting fines, shelving materials, and performing related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for federal work-study.
• Must be a half-time student (minimum six credit hours) at Blinn College, including summer terms.

Responsibilities

• Checks books and materials in and out for patrons.
• Assists patrons with general questions and with operation of copier, microfilm reader and computer including Internet.
• Collects money for book sales and late fines.
• Manages overdue library fines.
• Shelves books, magazines and newspapers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
