Job summary

Academy Express is seeking a Field Dispatcher to coordinate our drivers and customers along routes at the Rutgers University Campus in New Brunswick, NJ. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Maintenance teams to support safety and efficiency while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role provides an opportunity for growth within the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating drivers or dispatching
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• CDL endorsements preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers for daily operations
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in the field
• Be present and visible in loading areas and provide assistance as required
• Communicate information clearly via direct connect radio or phone
• Accurately update logs and complete required documentation
• Keep the field supervisor, dispatch and operations teams updated on operations
