Job summary

Academy Express is seeking a Dispatcher for our on-campus transportation at Rutgers University Campus in New Brunswick, NJ. You will coordinate schedules and communicate with drivers, terminal leadership, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.

This full-time role starts at $25.00 per hour, with pay commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401K, Paid Time Off, and Holiday Pay. CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year scheduling or operations experience in bus or motorcoach industry
• MS Outlook and Excel proficiency
• CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements preferred

• Review schedules and requests
• Coordinate with terminal leadership, customer service, and other teams to ensure safe and effective operations
• Prepare for next day roll-out
• Fuel relief vehicles as needed

This role provides an opportunity for growth within the largest privately owned and operated transportation company in the U.S.

Pay rate starting at $25.00 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with experience level.

Shifts:

• Overnight shift (must be able to work a flexible schedule)
• Floating shift (must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, weekends and overnights as needed)

Full-time shifts only.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of scheduling or operations experience in bus or motorcoach industry
• MS Outlook and Excel
• CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements is preferred
