Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Manager in Bloomington, MN to lead the facilities organization for a campus environment. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with the client and vendors, and drive safety, quality, and cost controls across all building systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5–7 years in facilities management, and 3+ years of supervisory experience. Proficiency with CMMS/BMS and knowledge of industry standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities, engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in facilities/property management, preferably commercial/campus.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in facilities setting.
• Experience with CMMS, work order systems, and BMS; Yardi a plus.
• CFM, FMA, LEED O&M or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, ensuring best-in-class services across custodial, life safety, engineering, landscaping, and general maintenance.
• Ensure services align with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and develop a cohesive technical and administrative team with focus on safety and responsiveness.
• Oversee vendor/contractor relationships, bids, on-site supervision, and performance.
• Prepare operating and capital budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
