Job summary

This role collaborates across Facilities Services, EHS, Space Management, and FPD to coordinate maintenance, custodial services, inspections, space changes, and occupancy needs, while communicating timelines and coordinating improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years facilities experience.
• High school diploma or GED with 9 years facilities management experience.
• Experience with customer-facing roles and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings for maintenance, safety, and operational issues.
• Document deficiencies and submit work requests in Maximo.
• Coordinate with trades for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Communicate maintenance timelines to occupants.
• Support space management and asset tracking.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Lead coordination of repairs and renovations as directed.
• Operate KU-issued vehicles.
