Job summary

Action Facilities Management, INC is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform a wide range of building, system, and equipment maintenance. The role requires practical trade skills in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and masonry, with a union position and daytime shift.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on building trades experience, is proficient with hand and power tools, and can read plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Trade/Vocational Certification preferred.
• 2–3 years progressive experience in building trades: carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or metal work.
• Trained in using hand and power tools; understands safety and codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance to buildings, systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Assist in preventative maintenance on large HVAC systems and components.
• Fix drywall, install fixtures, paint structures, and repair or replace surfaces.
• Respond to light outages, leaks, and temperature issues; maintain records.
