Job summary

Government Contracting Resources, Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs across building systems.

The role spans HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and door hardware tasks, ensuring safety and reliability of facilities. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, inspecting equipment, and reporting needs that require specialized trades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of recent facility maintenance experience.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, doors and hardware, and building finishes.

Responsibilities

• Performs general preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustment, and minor repair of facility equipment and building systems.
• Performs basic HVAC maintenance and repairs, including replacing belts, filters, and inspecting equipment.
• Performs basic plumbing maintenance and repairs and identifies leaks.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance within authorized limits and reports to a qualified electrician.
• Inspects and maintains door hardware and locking systems.
• Uses CMMS/work orders to document maintenance activities and report deficiencies.
