Job summary

SSC Services for Education seeks a Student Housing Maintenance Supervisor to lead a campus-wide maintenance program across Texas A&M University facilities. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance in academic, residential, and auxiliary buildings, driving efficiency and a consistent service standard.

Responsibilities include asset inventories, coordination of staff, and CMMS oversight, with a focus on preventive maintenance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and standardize a campus-wide maintenance program for all facility assets.
• Maintain asset inventories and schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and equipment.
• Plan and schedule work to align with calendars, occupancy, and events.
• Coordinate staffing and resources to ensure on-time work orders.
• Balance preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Oversee CMMS for work orders, asset tracking, and reporting.
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff, set expectations for quality and safety.
• Conduct field audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure OSHA, life safety, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize disruption.
