Job summary

Phillips Theological Seminary is seeking a Maintenance Manager to plan, direct, and oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of campus facilities and grounds. You will coordinate with the Maintenance Assistant and contractors to ensure timely, safe, and regulatory-compliant work that aligns with budgets.

The role requires strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and vendor management, with a focus on minimizing risk and maintaining a welcoming campus environment for students

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Five or more years of building maintenance/operations experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Certifications or licenses related to HVAC, electrical work, or contractor credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance, repair, and renovation of facilities and grounds.
• Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system projects.
• Oversee contractors to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in developing annual capital and operating budgets.
• Maintain maintenance help desk, inventories, and safety programs.
