Job summary

The Episcopal Academy is actively seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across our facilities. You will supervise a four-person team, coordinate preventive work, manage budgets, and ensure safety and compliance while supporting campus operations and events.

Ideal candidates have facilities management experience, strong leadership, and CMMS/Office proficiency, with a valid driver's license. This role is based on our main campus near Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance understanding.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to track work, report activity, and make sound decisions.
• Experience with CMMS and Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and upkeep of campus facilities.
• Supervise, train, and support a team of four maintenance employees.
• Manage preventive maintenance, work orders, budgeting and scheduling.
• Develop procedures for MEP systems and fire protection.
• Coordinate repair work with outside contractors and vendors.
• Inspect facilities, identify issues, and resolve problems promptly.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control expenses.
• Support operations including snow removal, event setup, and security as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations and standards.
