The role ensures safe, cost-effective operations and regulatory compliance while supporting the academic mission and campus events. The ideal candidate will oversee budgets, vendor relationships, and performance management, collaborating with campus stakeholders and senior leadership to advance institutional priorities and maintain a well‑maintained campus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; eight to ten years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment.
• Experience managing budgets, payroll, and timekeeping records.
• Knowledge of custodial operations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Preferred: supervision of union employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facilities operations, staffing, and scheduling to meet campus needs and events.
• Support sustainability initiatives, safety, emergency preparedness, and campus operations.
• Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and capital project coordination.
• Lead employee development, performance evaluations, and collaboration with Human Resources.
• Provide after-hours operational support and represent Facilities in institutional matters.
