Job summary

UC Irvine's Facilities Management is seeking a Construction Project Manager Associate to support senior PMs on large projects and to independently run small to mid-size renovations. You will guide projects from concept and budget through construction, ensuring scope, utilities, and codes are met while maintaining close stakeholder communication.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of building codes, contract administration, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building and construction, design, construction contract administration and California Building Codes.
• Ability to develop project scope and drawings and to review contracts.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior project managers on large projects; assist with planning, design, logs, change orders, schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with Parking, UCPD and CNS; ensure regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Develop program, bids, supervise construction and contractors; maintain project reviews.
• Ensure documentation, warranties, and O&M manuals are properly handed over.
• Engage with stakeholders and participate in emergency response and related duties.
