Job summary

Volunteer State Community College is seeking a Logistics and Events Supervisor to lead the planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution of college events and campus activities. The role requires collaboration with departments, community partners, and external organizations to ensure events are aligned with the college’s mission and branding.

The position oversees staff, manages space reservations, AV needs, and event calendars, and coordinates timelines and resources to support event

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of event coordination, scheduling, facilities coordination, project management, or related role OR Associate’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
• Proven ability to plan and execute events with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
• Experience coordinating internal and external campus events and complex calendars.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff by assigning projects and monitoring progress.
• Coordinates all internal college events, including meetings, convocations, campus celebrations, forums, and training.
• Manages space reservations, AV needs, and event logistics to ensure professional execution.
• Maintains official event calendars and communicates timely information to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborates with Marketing and Communications to promote events and ensure branding standards.
