Job summary

Volunteer State Community College seeks a Logistics and Events Supervisor to oversee planning, logistics, scheduling, event communication, and execution of college events and campus activities. You will collaborate with departments and external partners to align events with the college mission and maximize campus resources.

The role requires coordinating event timelines, managing space and equipment, and ensuring professional delivery of events in line with branding and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year related experience or Associate’s degree with 3 years experience
• Experience in event coordination, scheduling, facilities coordination, or project management

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, coordination, and execution of internal college events, including meetings, convocations, campus celebrations, forums, training, and special initiatives.
• Coordinates all event logistics, including space reservations, facility setup, A/V support, equipment needs, catering coordination, timelines and requirements.
• Maintains accuracy and integrity of the college’s official event calendars and communicates with internal and external audiences.
