Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking an Events Management professional to lead the Campus Production Team in delivering production services for campus events, excluding the Davis Center. The role requires coordinating scheduling, staff training, and on-site support to ensure successful events for internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two-four years’ relevant experience in event support required.
• Experience with supervising staff required.
• Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain –driver’s record check required.
• Initial employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the Campus Production Team’s production services for events on the UVM Campus.
• Ensure timeliness of staff scheduling and efficacy of event support services.
• Coordinate with campus partners, service providers, and vendors for collaborative events.
• Assist in planning and coordinating staff training and development programs.
