Job summary

NC State University is seeking a Building Environmental Services Supervisor (Zone Manager) in Raleigh, NC. This role leads Environmental Services Technicians to maintain clean, safe facilities across campus. You will develop schedules, monitor performance, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

As part of the Facilities Division, you will work standard hours with some weekend coverage and contribute to a large, community-focused campus environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
• Certification or eligibility for Certification may be required.
• Experience in leadership or supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Environmental Services Technicians and assign workloads.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and service plans for various facilities.
• Oversee daily operations, coordinate work assignments, and manage resources.
• Respond to urgent and emergency situations and provide training to staff.
• Ensure health, safety, and data security training is completed by staff.
