Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license. Work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with regular attendance and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a directly related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Supervises environmental services staff, assigns duties and checks work.
• Ensures cleanliness of buildings, classrooms, fitness centers and laboratories.
• Instructs new employees in duties and safety rules/regulations.
• Handles minor personnel and disciplinary issues; refers major problems to supervisor.
• Requisitions janitorial supplies and equipment as needed.
• Inspects areas to ensure desired results and uses University vehicle for work sites.
