Job summary

Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL, is seeking an Educational Aide for the Student Engagement Center. The position supports student-run organizations, assists with inquiries, and helps connect students with on-campus opportunities.

Hours are 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed. The role requires current SF students enrolled in at least six credit hours, maintaining a 2.5 GPA, and undergoing a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student.
• Taking six (6) or more credit hours.
• Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.
• A criminal background check will be conducted.
• Must comply with privacy and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet, respond to, and direct students in the Engagement Center.
• Accept, screen, and route calls about activities and operations.
• Connect students with opportunities and resources on campus.
• Support Center activities; monitor equipment and enforce rules and policies.
• Uphold College Rules, FERPA, and confidentiality of records.
• Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, and professional engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
