Santa Fe College's Fine Arts department is hiring multiple educational aides. The Educational Aide will maintain a functional and efficient work environment and ensure compliance with SF and FERPA policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, helpful, and welcoming atmosphere by greeting, responding to, and directing visitors in‑person and over the phone.
- Distribute mail and office supplies, and operate and maintain copier/printer.
- Accept, screen, and route telephone calls concerning activities and operations of the office, directing inquiries as appropriate and/or providing information.
- Provide administrative support to the faculty and other staff members.
- Strictly honor the privacy and security of student records and other sensitive information according to state, federal, and college regulations, policies and procedures.
- Comply with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines and laws/regulations governing public employees, including those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
- Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be a currently enrolled Santa Fe College student in good academic standing and taking six (6) or more credit hours.
- Must maintain a 2.5 GPA.
- A criminal background check will be conducted.
