Job summary

Salt Lake Community College is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator to support safety, readiness, and resilience across the campus. The role helps develop, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities, including SABM training, asset inventories, and public outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Zero to three years of direct experience in emergency management or related field.
• Valid Utah driver’s license within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SABM programs and training.
• Manage SABM budget and stipends.
• Lead First Aid, AED and CPR training sessions.
• Coordinate emergency management assets and personnel readiness.
• Assist in development and continuous enhancement of emergency plans and policies.
