Job summary

Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, seeks a Public Safety Emergency Management Specialist to support operations and college-wide preparedness. The role provides administrative and emergency communications support and coordinates TAC responsibilities with Utah BCI.

You will help develop plans, grants, training, and exercises, maintain records, and work with campus departments and partners to strengthen safety. This is an on-site, full-time role with benefits and opportunities to contribute to college

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible administrative, office support or emergency management experience.
• Ability to meet background screening and TAC requirements.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, policies, and guidance for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for Public Safety, including records and scheduling.
• Answer and route emergency and non-emergency calls and document requests.
• Maintain logs, statements, and documentation per policy.
• Assist with emergency notifications following procedures.
• Support development and maintenance of emergency operations plans and preparedness materials.
• Coordinate trainings, drills, and exercises and track improvements.
• Serve as TAC liaison with Utah BCI and manage access and training records.
• Coordinate Clery Act compliance data collection and reporting.
