Job summary

Dragons Academy – West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher & Campus Director to lead the West Palm Beach campus. The role blends educational leadership, student support, family engagement, and campus management to create a supportive and academically-focused environment.

The Campus Director will guide one-to-one instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff to raise student achievement while maintaining a welcoming, student-centered campus culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required).
• Florida teaching certification required.
• 5+ years of teaching with leadership responsibilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience as Lead Teacher, Department Head, Academic Director or similar leadership role preferred.
• Experience with Florida’s Step Up For Students program and managing related processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the educational leader of the West Palm Beach campus and establish a culture of academic excellence.
• Provide and/or oversee individualized one-to-one instruction and learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and identify growth opportunities with educators.
• Support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Ensure curriculum, assessments, and support strategies align with Academy expectations.
• Foster student ownership of learning and strong academic habits.
