The ideal candidate has strong food service management experience in high-volume settings, proficiency with cost and inventory controls, and a commitment to safety and training.

Qualifications

• Associates or equivalent education/experience in food-related, business, or hospitality management with 4 years of food service management experience.
• Knowledge of cost controls, inventory controls, and food safety/sanitation programs.
• Ability to supervise large quantity food production.
• Proficiency with personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and internet.
• Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Help drive operation that provides a safe and inviting atmosphere for guests, staff, and student workers.
• Provide high-quality customer service to all guests.
• Ensure orders meet standards and university/franchise requirements.
• Create an environment that promotes diversity and growth for student workers, staff, and guests.
• Assist in the hiring and training processes.
• Complete supply ordering and maintenance scheduling, and assist in daily duties.
