Job summary

Georgia State University’s PantherDining is hiring a Customer Services Specialist I to greet guests, answer questions, and ensure smooth front-of-house operations.

You will use POS systems, handle cash accurately, and maintain knowledge of daily menu items and meal plans while supporting back-up roles as needed. This role requires excellent customer service and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service, administrative, or office experience.

Responsibilities

• Attentive to guest needs; communicates customer request to management.
• Accurately and efficiently utilizes POS systems and maintains all cash and media at the registers.
• Maintains awareness of daily menu items and knowledge of meal plans.
• Counts and reconciles funds during shifts to ensure adequate funds.
• Restocks assigned supplies and brochures.
• Accurately records patron counts.
• Maintains neat appearance at the registers and in the front of house areas.
• Keeps beverage machines, napkins holders, silverware, plates, bowls, and cups filled and maintained.
• Helps keep table and service areas clean.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
