Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a Campus Dietitian to lead the nutrition program across campus dining, in collaboration with culinary leadership. You will educate on allergens, dietary accommodations, and wellness initiatives while ensuring menu transparency and safety for students and guests.

The role partners with campus health services and athletics to align nutrition education with wellness programs, and oversees training and audits to maintain compliance and high standards.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Licensure in the State (if required).
• Collaborative, self-directed, and motivated to lead initiatives independently.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor other managers or supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition education and wellness guidance within scope of practice; document interactions and refer to healthcare providers as needed.
• Coordinate with culinary team to accommodate dietary needs and special requests.
• Collaborate with student services to ensure proper registration, medical documentation, and meal exemptions.
• Conduct individualized dining tours to educate students and families about dietary options.
• Lead sustainable dining initiatives and plant-forward programming.
• Ensure dining program reflects diverse campus needs and supports wellness.
• Collaborate with athletic department to support student-athletes with nutrition education.
• Develop and deliver wellness programs and events across topics like sports nutrition and National Nutrition Month.
• Lead engagement activities such as tabling, sampling, and educational series.
