Job summary

Magnificat High School is seeking a Student and Community Engagement Manager to develop, coordinate and manage student programs and community initiatives for the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. This full-time, non-exempt role supports the Mission and values of Magnificat while handling office administration.

The position requires collaboration with students, faculty, staff and external partners, budget oversight, and strong communication skills to foster belonging within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Prior student programming/administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to student culture clubs and assist in developing and implementing student leadership experiences.
• Assist with the First-Year Experience student program and office orientation activities.
• Assist with planning and management of office events, activities, and initiatives; provide on-site support.
• Assist with meeting planning and correspondence for the office’s Advisory Committee.
• Assist with planning travel opportunities for students and staff.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, school partners and community members.
• Foster belonging and welcome within Magnificat and the office for all constituents.
• Provide administrative support to the office Vice President.
• Manage office budget matters including purchasing, requests and reconciliations.
• Assist in designing office communications materials (posters, flyers).
• Contribute to surveys, special reports, and presentations.
• Assist with outreach to alumnae, prospective students and families.
