Job summary

Mohave Community College is seeking a dependable custodian to help keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, employees, and visitors. You will report directly to the campus dean and perform a variety of general custodial tasks, with occasional minor maintenance duties as needed.

Shifts may include early mornings, nights, weekends or holidays to ensure campus operations and events run smoothly. A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 2 years related custodial experience or 30 college hours.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks and basic maintenance as needed.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled custodial tasks according to established guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and police floors for litter.
• Vacuum carpeting and wet mop lobbies, entrances and restroom floors.
• Sanitize restroom fixtures and restock restroom supplies.
• Strip and wax floors; clean glass doors and windows.
• May assist with moves and setup for events; report problems to supervisor.
