Job summary

Clovis Community College seeks a Temporary Custodian to maintain classrooms, restrooms, offices and related facilities. The role includes event setup, floor care and routine cleaning tasks under supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about one year of experience; a California driver’s license may be needed for some assignments. Working hours are evenings Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED or equivalent.
• One year of work experience; custodial experience desirable.
• Basic English and safety practices related to custodial work.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and restocks restrooms.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes floors and carpets; cleans rooms for events.
• Opens/unlocks buildings and secures doors; follows cleaning product instructions.
