Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle a floor buffer.
• A physical exam will be required upon receipt of job offer and employment contingent upon successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Keeping all buildings and their contents, inside and out, clean as assigned (floors, restrooms, windows, furniture, walks, etc.).
• Reporting any damages or problems with buildings or equipment to the Custodian Coordinator.
• Moving and arranging equipment and furniture as assigned.
• Unlocking assigned building at scheduled time and reporting problems with heat or air immediately.
• Assisting other maintenance personnel as needs arise.
• Scheduling and performing work so that it gets done without interfering with classes or other activities.
• Performing other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Empty outside trash cans.
