Job summary

Central Oregon Community College is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance across college buildings in Bend, OR. The role offers wages of $21.80–$22.23 per hour plus exceptional benefits, with wage placement dependent on qualifications.

Under supervision, you will provide superior customer service to faculty, staff, students, and the public during open hours. This position is distinct from a Custodian Lead and may require shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year custodial, maintenance and/or customer service experience.
• Valid Oregon Driver’s license, and the ability to meet the College requirements to drive campus vehicles; or obtain within 30-days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance of assigned College buildings; dust, mop, wash, sanitize restrooms, and replace supplies.
• Move and set up desks, chairs, stages, and equipment for meetings and events.
• Operate custodial equipment and monitor building security; follow safety procedures and department policies.
• Respond to emergencies and perform other duties to support the department.
