Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking electrical use.
• Lock/unlock doors; turn off lights in common areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment safety.
• Prepare cleaning solutions from water and detergents as specified.
• Strip, seal, finish and polish floors.
• Notify managers about major repairs or system needs.
• Requisition supplies or equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
• Maintain regular attendance and travel as required for in-person classes and conferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
