Williams College is seeking a Lead Custodian to supervise up to 12 custodial staff, manage work orders, and ensure a clean, safe campus environment in a full-time, year-round role in Williamstown, MA. The position reports to the Custodial Services Manager and requires flexibility for after-hours needs during peak periods.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with faculty, staff, and students to support living and learning at Williams.

Formación

• Basic computer literacy to manage work orders and requests.

Responsabilidades

• Direct up to 12 staff in day-to-day custodial operations across campus buildings.
• Manage time off requests, overtime, work orders, and inspections; report issues.
• Perform general cleaning, floor care, and operate vacuums, floor machines, and buffers.
• Handle light maintenance, snow removal, and bed making during seasonal peaks.
• Foster positive working relationships and maintain safety with chemicals and equipment.
