Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking Lab Monitors to support the Creative Technology Center on campus in Boston. This role involves assisting students with Audio/MIDI workstations and software, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of labs and learning spaces.

The position is part-time, on-campus, with an hourly rate of $16.97. Ideal candidates are current Berklee or Boston Conservatory students who meet enrollment, GPA, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Current Berklee/Boston Conservatory student and enrolled at least half-time.
• SSN is required to work on campus.
• GPA must be 2.0 or higher unless in first semester.
• Federal Work Study eligibility is a plus.
• Maintain good disciplinary standing and U.S. residency for employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with Audio/MIDI workstations and BLPP software.
• Troubleshoots software and hardware-related issues.
• Monitors check-in/out and manages resources for the Creative Tech Center.
• Attends regular trainings on software and troubleshooting.
• Assists teachers and staff during classes and presentations at the Creative Tech Center.
• Distributes instruments, cables, and other equipment to patrons.
