Job summary

Berklee College of Music in Boston is seeking a High School Academy Assistant to support the City Music Academic Program. This 10–15 hour per week role requires weekend and weekday evening availability and involves assisting with classroom prep and event support.

Qualifications

Must be a Berklee student in good standing with eligibility for student employment.
Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking program.
Ability to work 10–15 hours per week, including weekends/evenings as needed.
Able to lift 40 lbs or more of backline equipment.
Experience with live sound reinforcement, photography, or videography is a plus.

Responsibilities

Open and prepare City Music classrooms prior to the start of classes during the week.
Set up and tear down stages for events and communicate backline needs.
Create stage plots prior to events and coordinate with musicians.
Interact with students and staff in a professional, customer-friendly manner.
Manage equipment handling and ensure safety during load-in/load-out.
