Berklee College of Music is seeking Lab Monitors to support the Creative Technology Center on campus in Boston. This role involves assisting students with Audio/MIDI workstations and software, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation of labs and learning spaces.
The position is part-time, on-campus, with an hourly rate of $16.97. Ideal candidates are current Berklee or Boston Conservatory students who meet enrollment, GPA, and U.S.
Lab Monitors keep all CTC facilities in project-ready shape and communicate with those using the facility to ensure productive sessions. Lab Monitors provide aid to the facility patrons, as they are the first line of defense when it comes to troubleshooting. The Creative Technology Center facility consists of 28 Audio/MIDI-based computer workstations, with multimedia (music, video, etc.) production, notation, theory, ear training software, as well as word processing, Internet, and other software. Lab Monitors check students in and out, monitor facility usage, and organize and distribute materials.
