University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a Cook to oversee daily food preparation in a campus dining environment. You will work at multiple dining locations, ensuring quality, consistency, and friendly service while following standardized menus and recipes.

Responsibilities include training student workers, maintaining cleanliness and equipment, and preparing routine and specialty foods. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and a commitment to high food quality.

Qualificações

• Ability to push/pull wheeled carts up to 200 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of safe and efficient use of food service equipment.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and measure ingredients.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health precautions in food preparation and service.
• AllerTrain and ServSafe Certification will be offered and required within six months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Trains and guides student workers.
• Greets customers and provides information regarding food preparation and activities.
• Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Performs routine and non-routine food preparation including cook to order and specialty items.
• Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations and procedures.
