Thomas Cuisine is seeking a Cook for college campus dining in Saratoga and Santa Clara, CA. This on-site, full-time role offers $22 per hour with a schedule Monday-Thursday, 9am-5:30pm.

You will prepare scratch-made dishes, follow safety standards, and contribute to a warm, welcoming dining experience for students and staff. The position requires ServSafe and State Food Handlers credentials, the ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and assemble all items needed for preparation.
• Follow standard recipes and production sheets to achieve nutritious, high-quality meals.
• Evaluate food preparation and recommend changes to improve operations.
• Follow kitchen opening/closing procedures and sanitation practices.
• Assist with training new Food Service personnel.
• Report repairs and maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
• Meet deadlines for tray line, cafeteria service, and catering.
• Maintain proper food storage and presentation.
