Job summary

UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking a Construction Project Manager to coordinate schedules, collect cost data, and manage budgets and invoices for campus projects. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards, while collaborating with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing ROMs, monitoring change controls, and guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and five (5) years of related experience in the construction industry, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budget estimates and ROMs.
  • Oversee all work is performed per approved manuals and procedures.
  • Ensure construction and documentation align with contract documents and good engineering practices.
  • Verify inspections are performed and documented.
  • Develop and maintain project cost/change controls, budget, and accounting records.
  • Coordinate and monitor schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
  • Assist in managing and reviewing progress of contractors' construction schedules.
  • Review weekly and monthly reports on contracts status, costs, and changes.
  • Meet regularly with contractors and client to provide status updates.
