Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking a Construction Project Manager I to assist in capital project management across planning, development, design, construction, close-out, and warranty phases. You will ensure compliance with Owner’s Project Requirements, campus standards, and contract documents while providing project QA during construction for complex projects exceeding $10 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years design and construction experience.
• Experience with projects exceeding $10 million.
• Experience can be substituted for the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-planning phase cost estimates and space requirements.
• Develop RFQ / RFP to procure delivery method and coordinate design meetings.
• Facilitate reviews of contract documents and compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide support to track progress and ensure QA during construction.
