Job summary

High Point University is seeking a Campus Concierge Graduate Assistant to provide first-class customer service to the HPU family and maintain knowledge of campus resources. This position offers exposure to a wide range of university resources and operations in a student-centered environment.

As a graduate employee, you will gain experience in customer service, leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal communication while supporting evening and weekend operations on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1 year of customer service experience in a business with a reputation for first-class customer service.
• Proficient with Facebook and other social media platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the HPU experience through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails, and social media while promoting the university.
• Collaborates with Campus Concierge team and works independently at various campus locations, or remotely.
• Covers HPU Facebook Parent Group customer service.
• Collaborates with departments to resolve issues quickly and positively.
• Executes multiple projects and duties with efficiency.
• Communicates in a positive manner and maintains attention to detail.
• Leads and guides a team of student employees, provides support as Manager on Duty, and communicates with the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
