Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Catering Supervisor to lead a student crew in setting up and serving catered events on campus and nearby locations. You will drive event success through leadership and customer service, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certificate required or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• City of Madison Alcohol Operator License required or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Driver’s License – valid (preferred but not required) and UW Risk Management standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Leads and provides exceptional customer service and information about catering activities.
• Prepares, presents, and executes catered events.
• Assigns and coordinates day-to-day activities of food service staff.
• Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations.
